Magnetic Card Reader ( MSR )

Magnetic card reader through all three interfaces can access " single / dual / triple tracks " of magnetic card, which track2 bit density is 75 BPI, track1/3 bit density is 210 BPI following ISO and JIS II standard. The acceptable Coercivity of magnetic stripe is 300 Oe to 4000 Oe.

iButton key from Dallas Semiconductors.

Chip card reader through RS232 or USB interfaces can read/write ISO ID-1 size of smart card which follow ISO7816 /EMV specification and most popular synchronous chip cards ex. SLE4432/4442, SLE4418/4428 and SLE4436/6636.

LED Indicator
There is dual color LED indicators used to indicate the status of the magnetic card,

One short beep stands for operation success and three short beep stands for operation fail.

Interface Signal
RS232/USB port default protocol to communicate with host is 9600 bps, Even parity, 8 Data bit, 1 Stop bit. This baud rate can be changed by command level, for all commands supported by RS232/USB interface
